Eagle Scout and Leadership

Eagle Scout Project

An Eagle Scout project is a significant service project that a Scout must plan, develop, and lead to earn the Eagle Scout rank, demonstrating leadership and community service.

This project allows Scouts to demonstrate leadership skills while benefiting the community. The project must meet several criteria: community benefit, planning and leadership, and approval process.

My Eagle Project is to design and build a meditation space for the community with a swing and bench to promote mindfulness and mental well-being. I handled the entire process—from designing the layout and sourcing materials to recruiting a group of students and leading the construction. Seeing people now use the space to relax or reflect reminds me that leadership is about serving others and making the society better.
